Our History
DAI was founded in 2006 and legally registered in 2011 as a National Non-Governmental Organization in Kenya.
While we support all persons with disabilities, we place a special focus on deaf children and young deaf individuals.
Our Approach
As a disability-led organization, DAI champions evidence-based advocacy to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the policies and programs that shape their lives.
Our mission is delivered through skills building, livelihoods support, research, and advocacy.
